The dark knight Rises is a 2012 superhero
film based on the fictional DC Comics character Batman, co-written, produced
and directed by Christopher Nolan. The film is the final installment in Nolan's
Batman film trilogy, and the sequel to Batman Begins (2005) and TheDark Knight (2008). Christian Bale reprises the lead role of Bruce
Wayne/Batman in this film. The film introduces Selina Kyle ,
a sly, morally ambiguous cat burglar, and Bane, a villain try to destroying Gotam
city who forces Bruce to becomes Batman
again. After highly acclaimed, critically and commercially successful The DarkKnight (2008), The Dark Knight Rises Christopher Nolan was hesitant
about returning to the series for a second time, but agreed after developing a
story with his brother and Goyer that he felt would conclude the series on a
satisfactory note. Nolan drew
inspiration from Bane's comic book debut in the 1993 "Knightfall" storyline.
Nolan used IMAX 70 mm film cameras for much of the filming. Due to the
early success of the series Warner Bros. again started a huge campaign for The
Dark Knight Rises. They developed promotional websites, releasing the first six
minutes of the film, screening theatrical trailers, and sending out information
regarding the film's plot. Christian Bale reprises the lead role of Bruce
Wayne/Batman, with former casts in batman series.
The
Dark Knight Rises 1st released in New York City on July 16,
2012,and later it was released in Australia and New Zealand on July 19, 2012, and
in North America and the United Kingdom on July 20, 2012.Film received critical
acclaim and commercially successful and is widely considered the best film in 2012.
And considered as a one of the greatest Super Hero movie Ever made. Film
grossed over $1 billion worldwide at the box office, making it the second film
in the Batman film series, and by extension the second film based on a DC
Comics character, to earn $1 billion also it is the 3rd highest
grossing movie in 2012.
Christopher Nolan done his duty as a director,
producer (with Emma Thomas and Charles Roven).With his brother Jonathan Nolan
he wrote screenplay for this movie. David S. Goyer supported Nolan for the
story.
Hans Zimmer supported with music and it was distributed by Warner Bros;
with 165 minutes running time. Film earned $1.084 billion worldwide against
it’s bugget $230 millions. Syncopy, DC Entertainment, Legendary Pictures were

Plot
Film took place after eight years
after the incident about The Joker.8 years after Dents death Dent Act
grants the Gotham City Police Department powers which nearly eradicate organized
crime. Gordon, Police Commissioner feeling guilty for covering up Dent's crimes
writes a resignation speech but not use it.
Cat burglar Selina Kyle Stole Bruce's fingerprints and kidnaps a congressman, then disappears. Selina hands Bruce's fingerprints to Phillip Stryver , an assistant to Bruce's business rival John Daggett, in hope of having her criminal record erased.
Stryver double-crosses Selina, but she uses the congressman's stolen phone to alert the police to their location. Police arrive to find the congressman, and pursue the crew where Selina flees. A masked militant named Bane Gordon escapes and is found by John Blake Who has deduced Batman's true identity.
Gordon promotes Blake to detective, with Blake reporting directly to him. Wayne Enterprises is unprofitable after Bruce discontinued his fusion reactor project when he learned that the core could be weaponized. Bane attacks the Gotham Stock Exchange and bankrupts Bruce. Alfred try to told Bruce to become batman again stating that Rechel had intended to marry Dent before she died, and resigned. Bruce asks Wayne Enterprises board member Miranda Tate to take over his company fearing Bane’s employers.
Bane tricked Selina and traped Batman and hits him before taking to a prison in foreign where escape is virtually impossible. The inmates tell Bruce the story of Ra's al Ghul's child the only prisoner to have ever to escape from that prision. Bruce assumes the child to be Bane.

locked Gotham police underground by tricking them. He kills Mayor Anthony and
abducted physicist, Dr. Leonid Pave to convert the reactor core into a nuclear
bomb.Bane isolated Gotham from the world and using Gorden’s Speech Bane reveals
the cover-up of Dent's crimes and releases the prisoners initiating a
revolution. The wealthy ones and powerful are dragged from their homes nd are
given show trials presided over by Dr. Jonathan Crane, where any sentence means
likely death. After months of recovery from his injury and re-training, Bruce
escapes from the prison and asked help from selina,
lake, Tate, Gordon, and Lucius Fox, to stop the bomb's detonation.During The Clash between police and Bane’s crew Batman defeated Bane but betrayed by Miranda Talia revealing her self as Ras’s daughter and reveals Bane as her Protector while hearting Batman with a Knife. Bane prepares to kill Batman, but Selina shoots Bane with the cannons on the Batpod. Batman pursues Talia hoping to bring the bomb back to the reactor where it can be stabilize, but Talia's truck crashed and she remotely destroys the reactor before dying. Batman uses the Bat to haul the bomb over the bay, where it detonates without any option.
Batman is presumed dead and is honored
as a hero. With Bruce also presumed dead, Wayne Manor is left to the city to
become an orphanage, and Wayne's remaining estate is left to Alfred. Fox
discovers that Bruce had fixed the Bat's autopilot six months prior. While
visiting Florence, Alfred witnesses Bruce and Selina together. Blake resigns
from the police force and inherits the Batcave.

Production and filming
Nolan
wanted the story for the third installment to keep him emotionally invested.
"On a more superficial level, I have to ask the question," he
reasoned, "how many good third movies in a franchise can people
name?".But Nloan finally agreed to take 3rd installment of the
series. Following the success of the Joker in The Dark Knight, They
wished another villain as he was.But Nolan preferred more physically fit
character. February 9, 2010, that it was announced that Nolan had
"cracked" the story of a sequel to The Dark Knight and was
committed to return to the project.Nolan said that his brother's original draft was
about 400 pages for the project. The Dark Knight Rises reunited Nolan
with many of his past collaborators, including cinematographer Wally Pfister,
production designer Nathan Crowley., editor Lee Smith, costume designer Lindy
Hemming, special effects supervisors Paul Franklin and Chris Corbould, and
composer Hans Zimmer.
Filming
took place in locations including Jodhpur, London, Nottingham, Glasgow, Los
Angeles, New York City, Newark, and Pittsburgh. Nolan used IMAX70 mm film
cameras for much of the filming. A vehicle variation of the Batplane and Batcopter
termed the "Bat", an underground prison set, and a new Batcave set
were created specifically for the film. Several accidents occurred during the
production of the film but anyone did not seriously injured. The Batsuit
consisted of 110 separate pieces, each of which had to be replicated dozens of
times over the course of the production. Molded pieces of flexible urethane
were then attached to the mesh, to form the overall body armor plating. Carbon
fiber panels were placed inside the sections on the legs, chest and abdomen. In
creating Selina Kyle's catsuit, two layers of material were used, with the
outer layer being polyurethane coated spandex, embossed with a hexagonal
pattern.
The official website launched in May 2011 introducing a huge
marketing campaign similar to the one used to promote The Dark Knight.
After releasing trailer it received re than 12.5 million views in the
first 24 hours, the trailer set the record for most combined downloads from iTunes,
beating the previous record held by The Avengers. In January 2012, six
months prior to the film's release, tickets for midnight IMAX showings in New
York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles went on sale and sold out immediately.
Purchased tickets surfaced for sale online for over $100, compared with their
original price of $17.50.
Reception and Box office
On
July 6, 2012, Warner Bros held a special IMAX screening of The Dark Knight
Rises for more than one hundred reporters and critics. The Dark Knight

positive reviews critis and audience. Rotten
Tomatoes gave The Dark Knight Rises a score of 87% based on 310 reviews
and a rating average of 8/10. Metacritic, assigned the film a weighted score of
78 out of 100, based on 45 critics, indicating "generally favorable
reviews". CinemaScore reported that audiences gave the film an A grade.
IGN gave it a 9 out of 10, and The Guardian scored the film four out of
five stars.
The
Dark Knight Rises earned $448 million in North America, and
$636 million in other countries, summing up to a worldwide total of $1.084 billion
and becomes third-highest-grossing film of 2012. It had a worldwide opening
weekend of $248.9 million. On the 2012 Labor Day weekend, it became the third
film distributed by Warner Bros. and the thirteenth film in cinematic history
to cross the $1 billion mark.The film also became the second movie (after Avatar)
to reach $100 million in worldwide IMAX grosses. At AFI Awards 2012 Film won
the Movies of the Year award. And it was nominated for so many other Awards.
